Diane McConochie becomes Fastest Lady at 2010 Sprint

Our Financial Controller, Diane McConochie, has safely returned after completing her second Ramsey Sprint at the Isle of Man TT races, proudly winning the Fastest Lady Trophy.

She successfully achieved a 7.92 second run on the challenging motorcycle track - beating her nearest lady rival by 0.31 seconds!

This broke her 7.97 seconds personal record and put her in 9th place overall within her male dominated cc-class!

The Fastest Lady trophy was presented by ex British Superbike Champion John Reynolds (pictured left), and one of her musical heroes, Keith Flint of the Prodigy (pictured right)!

Diane has raised over £800.00 so far for the NGVFA, an independent charity supporting brave service men and women affected by the 1990-91 and 2003-09 Iraq/Gulf conflicts.

If you would like to help Diane reach her target of £1000.000 please visit www.justgiving.com/moonwitch2010.
Huge Well Done Diane!!

Manchester to Blackpool Bike Ride

Sudlows will be riding from Manchester to Blackpool next month to raise funds for Francis House Childrens' Hospice.

Francis House is a very special Hospice caring for terminally ill children, who have been diagnosed with having "no cure". It's therefore very unlikely these children will become adults, however Francis House is a fantastic facility focussed on improving the quality of their short lives.

For every hour the Hospice needs £222 just to stand still - to pay for the fabric of the building, lighting and so on, as well as pay for the care they provide, such as nursing, physiotherapy and a whole range of specialist care.

The more money we raise the bigger difference we can make to the lives of these children. The easiest way to donate is through our Justgiving page. Visit www.justgiving.com/sudlows.

Chris and John met up with climbing legend Gary Guller (pictured Centre) who gave the closing speech at the inauguration. Gary who is an inspirational athlete led the largest cross-disability group to reach Mt. Everest Base Camp at 17,500 feet, before setting another record, becoming the first person with one arm to summit Mt. Everest!
