Thankyou for Cycling Support

Great news! Sudlows have successfully raised a Grand Total of £2837.00 for Francis House Children’s Hospice, way exceeding our original target of £2,000!

This was a huge increase on last year’s event when we raised an impressive £1519.00

We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to all who sponsored our team, giving so generously for such a worthy cause, and well done to all the riders for reaching the final destination!

Peter Forster from the Francis House charity was delighted at our efforts and will be featuring Sudlows in their next newsletter, “That is a really superb effort... please pass on our thanks to the whole team for your wonderful support.”

Again, well done everyone and do spread the good news and thanks to all the suppliers, friends and family who gave so generously.

Three Peaks Success

Earlier last month, adventurous hikers Dave Worsley and Collin Hallett confronted three of the UK’s highest mountains for the traditional Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in support of Marie Curie Cancer Care.

The challenge was a real test of their stamina and in spot on 8 hours they completed the walk, reaching Yorkshire’s highest summits Pen-y-ghent (691m), Whernside (728m) and Ingleborough (723m), and back to the beginning again. Next stop Ben Nevis and Snowdon...?? Here's some of their pictures, well done guys!

Sky's No Limit!

The latest craze to hit the Sudlows office is cycling and for the second event since last month's Charity Bike Ride, speedy cyclists John Collins, Chris Dummett and Chris Hurst took to the city centre streets at the weekend for the 12km Manchester Sky Ride.

Joined by their families, all commented on the fantastic atmosphere of live bands, wacky fancy dress and mini theatre-staged performances along the route, which surely made it a great day out!

They were joined by thousands of others who turned out for a fun summer ride, even cycling stars like Victoria Pendleton and Bradley Wiggins.

Whatever next for our cycling fanatics...?!
