Here we go again...

The INS Sudlows Abba Christmas party was the hottest ticket in town in Manchester on Friday night.

All of the INS dancing queens got into full swing in their 70's fancy dress to make it an Xmas doo to remember.

The night also celebrated Quality Manager Denis Brady's retirement, who is to leave the company this Christmas after an outstanding 48 years. We wish him a long and happy retirement.

Last week we were announced runner-up of the MEN Business Awards! On the bright side we’re so proud to have reached the final stage. It was an exciting night and the evening was all in thanks to our dedicated team.

Hopefully we'll come back stronger and claim our victory next year!

INS Sudlows secures Football Sponsorship Deal

INS Sudlows are now the proud sponsors of Chaddy End FC for the 2009/2010 season.

The popular under-13s football team in the Tameside and District Junior Football League will certainly benefit from this new sponsorship deal, and the fantastic new kits will undoubtedly give the youngsters a great feeling when running onto the pitch.

Managing Director of INS Sudlows, John Collins, who is pictured second from right with the Team Coach, Colin Moore, says “it’s a great opportunity to give something back to the local community and hopefully it’ll be the catalyst for a winning season ahead”.

INS Sudlows Reach MEN Business of the Year Awards Final

After a vigorous selection process, INS Sudlows has been selected as one of three finalists in the £5m to £10m category of the MEN Business of the Year Awards 2009.

On Monday 12th October INS Sudlows are to present the company’s profile, held at Pinsent Masons, in recognition of excellence within the categories of innovation, financial performance, customer service, employee development, community awareness and sustainability.

In addition to a judging panel, INS Sudlows will also be featuring in a video clip filmed by Channel M, who are closely following the Awards.

The Business of the Year Awards are the highlight of the region's corporate calendar, and this year's ceremony will take place at The Lowry Hotel, Salford, on November 5.

Financial Controller Yanks On The Throttle To Help Our Heroes!

Diane McConochie, Financial Controller for INS Sudlows, bravely volunteered to attempt the infamous Ramsey Sprint, an annual motorbike drag race that is held on the Isle of Man during the TT Races.

Diane successfully raised over £500 for "Help for Heroes", a charity that aims to support injured troops returning from active service.

Summer Bike Ride for NSPCC

As the days get longer and the weather warmer, our thoughts drift to the highlight of the INS social calender with the news of the announced annual bike ride to the beach on Sunday July 12th.

This year INS have nominated NSPCC has our Charity this year and we will be cycling from Manchester to Blackpool beach in support of this great cause. Watch this blog for announcement of our Justgiving web page for donations.

INS Sudlows has completed the installation of a new 3 phase 300amp electrical supply to the exciting new Vegas style Fountain at the Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

Staff and Clients were treated to an evening of informal business discussions during the famous Manchester Beer Festival.

Many people explored their Irish heritage during the sampling of numerous local ales through the medium of large hats and false beards, as you can see from our photos.
